We have a range of courses in Early years, health and social care for people at all levels. Our courses are taught by tutors who have worked in the industry and who will share their experiences with you. They don?t just teach theory, but prepare you for a career in the profession.
Achievement of this qualification will equip learners with knowledge and understanding across a range of key subject areas, for example:
equality, diversity and rights in health and social care
human growth and development through the life span
the role and responsibilities of the health and social care practitioner in relation to safeguarding individuals.
You will be assessed by a portfolio of written assignments, practical role plays and observations, work experience and internal/external assessments. You will receive both verbal and written feedback from your tutors. Formal external exams will be taken for English and Maths GCSE as necessary.
Upon achievement of this qualification, learners will be able to progress onto further learning or to employment within the health and social care sector. The Extended Diploma supports direct progression the NCFE CACHE Level 3 Award, Certificate and Extended Diploma in Health and Social Care.
This course is excellent preparation for employment into health & social care profession.
There is a local work experience element in this course.
